“The act of suicide is a blatant show of disregard to those left behind.”
I have thought on these words and I have found them true. Suicide is the worst way to tell those who love you that you hate them. It is a selfish and arrogant strategy employed in letting everyone know that you’re capable of making your own decisions. It is a cowardly show of surrender to your demons. It is a blasphemous act of daring God and taking the life that you did not create. It is an ignorant act of believing that other lives do not hang on yours. It is a stupid act of seeking false instant gratification. It is an ungrateful act of telling life that you learnt nothing from it, and so you opted for death.
Yes, it is DIY but no, it does not mean you’re smart, creative or artistic.
The voices in your head are lonely on the other side of life, because it’s lonelier there. Do not listen to them when they tell you to come over. Please learn to share your burdens; it’s what the shoulders were created for. Please learn to accept the tissues, it’s what the trees were created for. And please learn to live and love, it’s what you were created for.
